December 28, 2004Jason and Sarah met in Laie, Hawaii in Fall of 2003. Jason will always start this story out with, "She cornered me." Sarah was the ward choir director and was currently recruiting. Of course she wanted the cute ones in choir! After only a few dates, they were known as the "campus couple". They both ended up moving to Boise.
After dating 11 months, Jason proposed at the top of Initial Point. Jason wanted to start the night out with some fireworks....he, he, he.....No, for real-he brought a bag of fireworks which he hid the ring in. He reached into the bag and came back to Sarah on one knee. She didn't even say "YES"! She didn't say no either. All she could say was "Of course I'll marry you!"
Jason and Sarah were married and sealed in the Boise, Idaho Temple on December 28th, 2004.
